Weather may play spoilsport as India leave out Siraj from playing XI for the WTC final
The Southampton weather has become a huge bone of contention as the WTC final. Yet to start on day one due to weather conditions. Today’s day might be badly hamper due to weather . Though better weather is expected on the 2nd day , around 70-80 % of rainfall is expected on days 3, 4 and 5 causing a lot of worries for the organisers and ICC. Fans are now keeping their figures crossed hoping for the weather to improve so that a competitive match is play in the available time. Meanwhile, India has announced their playing XI one day in advance for the World Test Championships final vs New Zealand at Southampton. The team is selected on expected lines. The only bone of contention was the selection of the pace attack with all the top four being deserving candidates to fit in the XI. Finally Bunrah, Shami and Ishant were decided upon as the 3 fast bowlers with Mohammed Siraj. Who performed brilliantly in Australia unluckily misses out.
