Warmer conditions in August may help India to beat England 5-0 in test series: Monty Panesar
England’s former left-arm spinner Monty Panesar is upbeat about India’s chances in the forthcoming 5 test series vs England and said that India is currently performing excellently in test cricket .
Panesar known for his eyeballs attracting comments on social media has predicted a 5-0 win for India in the coming England test series which he feels will be the greatest ever win for India in overseas.
Warmer conditions in August may help India to beat England 5-0 in test series: Monty Panesar. Panesar gave logical justification for his comments. He feels that with the weather getting warmer from August in England. The spinners will come into play and the ball can start gripping on the surface with drier weather. Hence with Ashwin and Jadeja in the ranks, India can be dangerous.
Panesar also felt that the England top order, especially the openers have been fragile since the retirement of Alistair Cook. Dominic Sibley, Zak Crawley and Rory Burns have come out with isolated good performances. But has not shown consistency and stability at the top of the order.
Panesar also opined that most England batters take off stump guard. Hence their head position goes outside off stump line at release point which should make the Indian bowlers target the stumps more.
India is poised to play 5 tests in England starting from August. After their WTC final clash against New Zealand in June.
