Virat Kohli targets Barmy Army in his 5th-day celebrations

It was a rousing 5th day of the 4th test at the Oval as India and England fought out a grim battle. The Indian bowlers were all over the England batsmen. As soon as they managed to break the opening stand of 100. The Bowlers bowled with aggression to dismiss England for 210 and thereby taking the last 10 wickets for just 110 runs in an outstanding come from behind win.

The Indian captain Virat Kohli who himself is an excitable character was the most enthusiastic in his celebrations as always. He not only backed his bowlers to the hilt showering them with over aggressive  celebrations at the fall of each wicket but also gets the crowd involved. On the 5th day, Kohli trolled the English fans group, ” the Barmy Army”. And got them involved when blowing an imaginary trumpet at them at the fall of Ollie Pope’s wicket. When Bumrah bowled him for his 100th test scalp.
Kohli ‘s acting towards the Barmy army was not taken sportingly by the English journalist Lawrence Booth and former cricketer Nick Crompton who said on Twitter  “Yea it doesn’t look good for him! No need”

The Barmy Army did not react aggressively, rather they took it sportingly. ” Yes we know you want to be in the army Virat. We get the hint,” the Barmy Army tweeted along with a picture of Kohli playing his imaginary trumpet.
