Vengsarkar though agreed that India is a better all-round team. Therefore, Did not hesitate to say that New Zealand will be better prepared for the conditions after their 2 tests against England. And has the advantage of being a low profile team.
After the test and white ball series vs England at home, Indian players were involved in IPL. Till it was called off in early May due to the explosion of covid cases in India and within the IPL bio bubble. Thus the team is without match practice for one and a half months.
