Umesh Yadav has finally passed his fitness test and is now officially included in the Indian squad for the last two tests against England . Having done well in his lone pink ball test against Bangladesh in late 2019 , the Indian thinktank was already  looking to get Umesh into the squad . It may be mentioned that Umesh Yadav has got a better test record at home compared to overseas and therefore his addition will bolster the Indian bowling attack further.  India has four seamers in their squad now : Umesh , Ishant , Siraj and Bumrah to choose from for the much awaited pink ball test  and in all likelihood will leave out Siraj from the four.

Hardik Pandya is  apparently still not ready to bowl in tests .

Meanwhile after Umesh ‘s inclusion , Shardul Thakur has been released from the squad in order to participate in Vijay Hazare trophy.
