Cricket experts and fans have a recent general view that ODI cricket will soon get extinct  as fans are more obsessed with T20 cricket , especially due to so many attractive T20 leagues being played around the world and the fact that T20 cricket is less time consuming than ODI cricket which goes on for 7 hours .

However ODI cricket still gives it’s own thrills and the ODI World cup , that is held every 4 years , still carries more weight than the T20 World cup which is held every 2 years .
