Sundar & Avesh Khan is playing for county XI against India in the tour match 

India is currently playing a warm-up game against a select county XI. Due to injury and covid issues, the county XI was short of players and therefore had to take the help from the Indian squad to get Avesh Khan and Washington Sunder to play for their side. 


Hence both Sundar & Avesh Khan is playing for county XI against India in tour match.

Both wore the Indian jerseys during the match and remained a part of the Indian team in the dressing room. However, they represented the county XI on the field of play.


Avesh, who is a standby in the Indian squad, incidentally has injured his finger while bowling and is out of the match.  He did not get any wickets.


Sundar was out cheaply for 1 caught by Rohit off Siraj in the county XI first innings.

KL Rahul scored 101 when India batted and Haseeb Hamid who is in the 17 member test squad for England,  is playing for the county XI, and scored a patient century on the 2nd day against a near full strength Indian pace attack.
