Both Cummins and Gill play for the same franchisee KKR in the IPL for the last 2 seasons. Hence the camaraderie between the two had grown in the last 2 years.
Gill said that Cummins had given an interview to the KKR management before the India v Australia series and said that ‘we’ll have the chin music going on’ or something like that.
Gill disclosed that later, in the series Pat Cummins bounced him continuously. Then he ( Gill) in a press conference said that ‘if they have their chin music, we know the moves to dance to that’.
Gill further added that the banter was fuelled after that press conference when Cummins will continuously bounce him. Ask him in the field on play ” where are your dance moves now “.
Gill is currently getting prepared for the WTC final and has appeared in good nick in the intrasquad simulation games. While Cummins is getting ready to fly to the West Indies for Australia’s next international assignment.
