Shaw , Surya & Paddikal to travel to England as Team mgmt asks for 3 replacements
Prithvi Shaw , Suryakumar Yadav and possibly Devdutt Paddikal will be travelling directly to England from Srilanka. In a bubble to bubble transfer from Colombo to London. While Jayant Yadav is not going as of now due to harder quarantine requirements. This development has been disclose by a senior BCCI official.

After too many names being float as refurbishments for the England tour, the names of Shaw, Paddikal & Surya Kumar Yadav has come out as the likeliest players to go to England . Paddikal seems to be a late hour addition.
Shaw, who was already in consideration to go to England as injured Gill’s replacement, finally will be going there with hopes of reviving his test fortunes after his Australia misadventure while it’s a dream come true for Surya Kumar Yadav, who only 4 months back has made his T20 debut followed by ODI debut in the current Srilanka tour in which he became man of the series with scores of 31*, 53 & 40. With his consistency and sublime batting, the management in England seems to have considered him ready for test cricket in the event of any emergency.
Paddikal is the latest addition to the wish list of the team management in England. After previously the name of Jayant Yadav was doing the rounds. Incidently Paddikal was also in consideration earlier to go to England along with Shaw.
Whether all three will travel to England in the middle of the T20I series in Srilanka or after, is being work out but possibilities are that they will fly immediately ( in next 24 hours) to get to England as early as possible.
Meanwhile, Wriddhiman Saha , Abhimanyu Easwaran and bowling coach Bharat Arun have joined the test squad. After completing their isolation period following the covid scares to Rishabh Pant and throwdown specialist Dayanand. Rishabh has already joined the squad after returning negative results.
