De Kock almost singlehandedly carried the South African batting in this series. Today in the decider he again looked awesome with his predominantly legside shots despatching anything off line. Today he found a great ally in Markram who played sparking shots all round the wicket and timed them superbly.

The big blow came when a rampaging Lewis (57) holed out in the deep off Ngidi. Hetmyer (33) played a well-controlled knock but West Indies were badly rattled by the consecutive cheap dismissals of Pollard (13) and Russell (0) to Wiaan Mulder. Pooran (20) tried to repair the damage but once he was caught off a skier. It was all over for the West Indies with South Africa winning the match by 25 runs and wrapping up a well earned 3-2 win in the series.
