Rohit Sharma’s statements has brightened prospects of Arjun Tendulkar’s IPL debut in last match

Arjun Tendulkar, son of great batsman Sachin Tendulkar, has been a part of the Mumbai Indians team for the last two years, but he is yet to get a chance to make his debut.  Mumbai had bought Arjun this year at a bid of Rs 30 lakh.  Mumbai Indians have played 13 matches so far this season, but Arjun Tendulkar hasn’t got a chance to play.  Mumbai Indians, who have been out of the IPL 2022 playoff race, have to play their last match against Delhi Capitals on 21 May and there is every possibility that Arjun will make his debut in that match.  Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma himself has indicated this without naming any cricketer .

After winning the toss in the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Tuesday, Rohit said that he has made two changes in his playing XI.  He said that Mayank Markande and Sanjay Yadav have entered the team instead of Hrithik Shokeen, Kumar Karthikeya.  We want to do this experiment for the next season and want to test players for the next year.  He further said that after this we have one more match and we may try some more people in that match.

It seems from Rohit’s statement that all-rounder Arjun may get a chance in the playing XI of Mumbai Indians in the next match.  Arjun Tendulkar was bought by five-time champions Mumbai Indians for Rs 20 lakh in the last season as well, but he did not get a chance to play any match and the same has happened to him this season as well.  Arjun Tendulkar has started trending on Twitter anyway due to Rohit’s statement.  Users are feeling that Arjun will get a chance to make a sure debut in the next match.
