After a 6 wicket defeat at the hands of Delhi Capitals, the Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma expressed his dissatisfaction with the performance of the team’s middle order.

Rohit pointed out that the team had some great starts in the powerplays but the middle order has not been performing well and hence the batting unit is unable to drive home the advantage of good starts. He said this is an area, the team needs to work on and resolve soon.

Rohit however lauded the bowling performance of the Delhi Capitals saying that they kept it tight and kept getting wickets.

Rohit was not fielding during Delhi Capitals innings due to an apparent injury and Pollard led the team. However, Rohit later clarified that it is only a niggle and there are no worries.

Rohit was also seen signing the jersey of Avesh Khan which was a great ‘ fanboy’ moment for the Delhi Capitals fast bowler, a moment he will always remember.
