Former chief selector MSK Prasad believes that Indian spinning all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has done enough to get an A+ category in the player gradings .
It may be noted that BCCI has recently announced the players’ annual contract list in with only three players — Virat Kohli , Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah are named under the topmost category ( A+)
Prasad feels that Jadeja is in the top 10 all-rounders list in world rankings for both tests and ODIs ad is an all-format player
“Jadeja is a genuine A+ candidate. Those who play all formats and have good ICC rankings are included in the list. I cannot see any reason why he was not considered for A + Grade,” MSK Prasad told Cricbuzz.
Prasad is also confident that Rishabh Pant should get upgraded to the A+ category in the next cycle after his stellar shows in all formats which included his outstanding contribution in test series win in Australia.
