Shastri ends as one of the most successful coaches of India

Ravi Shastri’s performance as India’s coach has been historic.  During his tenure, the weakness of India, which had been going on for years, was removed.  Under Ravi’s coach, India’s fast bowling improved and the trio of Shami, Ishant and Bumrah did a great job.  Along with this, the Indian team went to Australia and won the Test series twice and defeated England at their home.  Although India could not win any ICC trophy during this period, but losing to teams like Australia and England at home was something that the Indian team had never been able to do before.
