In Ranji Trophy 2022-23 (Ranji Trophy) group stage matches are over. There were eight teams in four groups, out of which the top-2 teams of each group have got a place in the quarterfinals. While defending champions Madhya Pradesh, Bengal, Saurashtra and Karnataka made it to the last-8 by topping their respective groups, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, Andhra Pradesh and Punjab finished second in their respective groups.

Quarterfinal fixtures . Now there will be a clash between these eight teams to become the Ranji champion.
Who will fight with whom?
First Quarterfinal: Group-A topper Bengal will face Group-C second team Jharkhand.
Second quarterfinal: Saurashtra, who finished first in Group-B, will face second-ranked Punjab in Group-D.
Third Quarterfinal: Karnataka ranked No.1 in Group-C will clash with Uttarakhand team ranked No.2 in Group-A
Fourth Quarterfinal: Group-D topper and previous Ranji Trophy champion Madhya Pradesh will face Group-B’s second-ranked team Andhra.

The quarterfinal matches of Ranji Trophy will start at 9 am on January 31. All the four quarterfinals will start simultaneously. The winning teams will compete in the semi-final matches starting on 8 February. The final match will start from 16 February.

Some big teams had to be eliminated in the group stage itself.
Each team had 7 matches in the group stage. Here big teams like Delhi, Mumbai, Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Kerala and Baroda could not reach the quarterfinals. The teams of Maharashtra and Mumbai narrowly missed making it to the last-eight stage. The Kerala team also could not make it to the quarterfinals by a margin of just 2 points.
