Ramiz Raja likely to be next PCB chairman after Ehsan Mani ends his term
Former Pakistan captain and batsman Ramiz Raja is highly likely to become the next PCB chairman after the sitting chairman Ehsan Mani completes his two-year term on September 18.
As Pakistan’s cricket patron and current Prime Minister Imran Khan is likely to provide two names for the post. Ramiz’s name is high on the list.
Having scored 8674 international runs in 255 matches with 11 centuries, Ramiz was an attractive batsman in his heydays during 1980 -90s and turned into an articulate and a much liked commentator thereafter.
Ramiz also holds the world cup winning medal with Pakistan. When they won the World cup 1992 in Australia against all odds.
If Ramiz finally becomes the PCB chief then both India. Pakistan will have two former captains at the helm of cricket of the country.
