Pat Cummins indicates that holding IPL 2021 matches in multiple cities could have been avoided
With IPL 2021 suspended, Pat Cummins like his other Australian compatriots now awaits to complete the isolation process in India before making his next move for going back home. However, the restrictions imposed by the Australian Government on flights from India on 15 May has caused issues for the Australian contingent to return home. Cummins also indicated that he was surprised that the comments of the Australian PM relating to Australians involved in IPL need to make their own arrangements to get back home.
Pat Cummins indicates that holding IPL 2021 matches in multiple cities could have been avoided. Cummins also said that the IPL 2020 in UAE was superbly organized. He further indicated that BCCI could have avoided playing the current edition in multiple cities.
“Last year we had the IPL held over in the UAE and that was an incredibly well-run tournament,” the Australian ace fast bowler said.

With IPL suspended as of now, BCCI will be working on a possible window around September 2021 to complete the tournament subject to the covid situation in India. However, it all looks very uncertain given a packed international calendar
