Pakistan is widely considered as the dark horse in the coming T20I World cup.  Their adopted home ground of UAE is one of the main reasons why they are considered as a dangerous team in this event . Also over the years they have developed a good T20I core team. In the recent T20I series they lost to England 2-1 and beat West Indies 1-0 in a rain affected series . Some of their key players going into the T20I World cup could be skipper Babar Azam , Mohammad Rizwan , Shaheen Afridi , Hassan Ali , Mohammad Hafeez , Imad Wasim , Fakkar Zaman, Shadab Khan  and Haris Rauf .
