MS Dhoni’s tweet on Hockey win goes viral after Men’s Hockey bronze for India
The men’s Hockey Olympic bronze win at Tokyo 2020 was greeted with great excitement by sports fans as well as past and present cricketers. It was an Olympic medal win after 40 years and hence the huge celebrations on social media were expected.
However, one tweet also started to trend in this excitement. Which is an old tweet by MS Dhoni made during the 2014 Champions league. Which was a competition amongst T20 franchise teams. Dhoni’s team CSK had won a big semifinal against Kings XI Punjab ( now Punjab Kings) and they were in the final.

It may be mentioned that CSK’s champions league win beating KKR in the final happened at the time when Asian Games was on in South Korea . Indian hockey team in that Asian games beat hosts South Korea in a tough semi final. Won the gold by beating arch rivals Pakistan in a tense penalty shootout.
