Harbhajan Singh played his first professional match after IPL 2019 and 690 days in the match against KKR .

However, fans were surprised that he was not called on to bowl after his first over in which he almost had David Warner but Cummins missed a catch.

Explaining not using Harbhajan after he gave away only 8 runs in the first over Eoin Morgan explained that, the right arm off-spinner was not used later due to certain matchups ( Morgan meant that due to right-handers in the middle order of SRH he persisted more with left arm Shakib and leggie Varun Chakravarty.

Morgan also added that though only one over was used from Harbhajan , he showed great team spirit and understanding of the game by guiding others , using his experience.

“Bhajji starting really well in the first over and not playing a part after that but using his experience to guide the others just shows that,” Morgan said.
