Mohammed Kaif bowled over by this Indian batting star 

Former Indian batsman Mohammad Kaif, who is also the fielding coach of Delhi Capitals is in awe of Indian test opener Rohit Sharma. After spending years mastering the white-ball format, Rohit’s and his numerous fans main regret was that he was unable to make it count in test cricket for a long time.


However, from the time he started opening from the age of 32 in test cricket, he has looked like a transformed test cricketer. Still, he had to wait to make it count in overseas due to untimely injury leading him to miss the New Zealand tests and a part of the Australia series till he managed to play the last two tests in Australia and though he did not score big runs, he looked at ease against Australia fast bowlers and on their decks. Mohammed Kaif bowled over by this Indian batting star.

Finally, his chance came in the England test series in which he played all the 4 tests that were played in this series and looked in complete control, playing close to the body and not nicking anything to the slips. After threatening to score hundreds in every test, he finally got the coveted first overseas test hundred at the Oval. Rohit averaged 52 in this England series.


Kaif in his tweet described Rohit as an all-format player.  He said in his tweet.
