Minerva Cricket Academy won by 2 wickets in J.P. Atray Memorial Cricket Tournament 2021 semifinals
The All India J.P. Atray Memorial Cricket Tournament 2021 ( semifinal match )for Trident Cup between Minerva Cricket Academy and DDCA Delhi at GMMS ground in Sec.26, Chandigarh. Minerva Cricket Academy won the toss and opted to field first. Due to early morning rain 50 over match reduced to 26 overs.
Batting first, DDCA off to dismal start as their opener Manjot Kalra was caught by Yuvraj Chaudhary off Ankit Chaudhary. After that Hiten Dalal and Pryansh Arya stitched a partnership of 45 runs and then Pryansh Arya got out by Yuvraj Chaudhary scoring 30 runs. Hiten dal also soon left after being caught by Dev Yadav scoring 43 runs. Sarthak Ranjan scored 20 runs in 22 balls with 3 fours and Vision Panchal 24 runs off 20 balls with 3 sixes.
Bowlers Ajay Ahlawat, Ayush Badoni and Vision Panchal took 2 wickets each. DDCA Delhi scored 168/10 in 25.3 overs.
In reply, Minerva Cricket Academy scored 169/8 runs in 25.3. Minerva Cricket Academy were well serve by skipper Arslan Khan score 47 in 41 balls with 2 fours and 3 sixes. Sohrab Dhaliwal scored 51 runs in 31 balls with 4 fours and 3 sixes.
Another notable contribution came from Yuvraj Chaudhary* scored 26 runs off 23 balls; with 1 fours and two sixes with brilliant batting display. Bowlers Yuvraj Chaudhary and Dev Yadav both took 4 wickets each.
