Mark Wood out of 3rd Test due to  shoulder injury at Lords

England’s injury worries continue to haunt their pace bowling group. Mark Wood who had damaged his shoulder while going for a diving stop at Lords, is yet to recover fully from his shoulder injury and is ruled out of 3rd test at Leeds.

Wood one day after his injury had actually bowled at top speed on the last day to blow away the Indian tail. However, a spirited batting performance by Shami and Bumrah halted England’s progress and left Mark Wood aggravating his injury further.

With Broad, Woakes, Stone & Archer already on the injured list and Stokes unavailable, Wood is the latest casualty. He will again be assessed after 3rd test.
