It’s been 5 months now after India’s epic series at the Gabba but Aussie opener Marcus Harris seems to be full of admiration for India’s performance in that great test series in which he played in the last test.

Harris said that the final day of the Gabba test was amazing to watch as they ( Australia) kept thinking about whether India will go for the target of 327 or not. Harris added that Pant played fabulously but Pujara played a gritty innings taking lots of blows from the quicks.

“The final day was amazing to watch. We were thinking the whole day if they would go for the runs or not. I think Rishabh played the best innings that day, but for Pujara to be copping an absolute barrage from everyone. It felt like he batted a bit like an Australian, taking everything on the chest and getting on with it. The rest of the team just batted around him,” Harris said in an interview.

Marcus Harris was overwhelmed by India’s famous win at the Gabba. Harris continued further in his praise for Pant and India. He admitted: ” Rishabh Pant’s innings was unbelievable. Everyone says he has magic in him, and he has showed that a few times now. It was disappointing to lose the series but sometimes in cricket you just have tip your hat. Say they were too good for us.”
