In reply Srilanka won the match by 5 wickets with Dilshan playing glorious shots in his 47 off 37 balls including his patent “dilscoops” that fetched 3 boundaries . Upul Tharanga the recently retired Srilankan hit a sparkling 53 notout to take Srilanka to a win. Jayasurya batted briefly for 12 runs .
The Bangladesh England game was a low scoring affair which England won easily by 7 wickets chasing down Bangladesh’s 113/5 in twenty overs. Kevin Petersen provided great fireworks scoring 43 off 17 balls filled with great off drives and superb onside flicks .
