Jason Holder draws attention with a brilliant catch in WI v RSA test
Jason Holder is regarded as one of the top all-rounders in the game. Not only does he bowl accurately with great line and length and penetration. He can score runs in the lower middle order and also has a double century in test cricket.
What somehow tends to get ignored is his good fielding. Smart catching despite having a 6′ 5″ tall frame which can take time to move. Jason Holder draws attention with a brilliant catch in WI v RSA test.
The former West Indian captain has come up with an outstanding catch in the current test match between West Indies and South Africa which is the 2nd of the series with the Proteas leading the series 1-0. In a low scoring match, South Africa stumbled in the 2nd innings losing 7/73 and the seventh wicket was that of Keshav Maharaj. Who went to drive Jayden Seals and the ball flew towards the 2nd slip but still out of reach of Jason Holder. However, Holder flung himself towards his right and took a stunning one-handed catch. He looked absolutely delighted after taking the catch as his teammates converged towards him. While West Indies was making a strong comeback in the test.
It was a brilliant catch particularly for Holder. Who is a very tall cricketer and therefore tougher for him to dive so swiftly.
The video of the catch was shared on Twitter as under and the fans went berserk.
