India in particular has a massive number of cricket fans and cricket is a culture here, no less than a religion. Along with India, Australia, Pakistan, England, and Sri Lanka also take a keen interest in cricket and all its proceedings. Whenever a national team indulges in a match with another country, the cricket boards rake in huge amounts and the number has only soared since league matches have been introduced. Today we are going to have a look at the top 10 richest cricket boards in the world in the present year.

SLC, Sri Lanka Cricket Board stands at the 10th place in this list. The board has earned INR 100 Crores. Even though the board did not have the best of time in the past months but that did not stop it from earning this decent amount. The Board was founded in 1975 and since then it governs all the cricket tournaments in Sri Lanka. The pandemic hit SLC hard and BCCI was willing to help its neighbors by playing a few extra matches against the Sri Lankan team.

Sri Lanka last played against Bangladesh and we are sad to say that the team did not do great.

Next in line is the Zimbabwe Cricket Board which has earned a revenue of INR 113 Crores. This board is not as old as SLC and came into existence in 1992. Team Zimbabwe has not been doing very well in recent years which has impacted the revenue being earned by the board.
