Glenn Maxwell decides to skip the hundred in England
Australia is currently preparing for their first international cricket since the New Zealand T20I series in March 2021 as they will be touring the West Indies for a series of white-ball matches under skipper Aaron Finch, who has already indicated that the current IPL players missing out on the West Indies tour due to apparent bio bubble fatigue may have to work hard to make into the Australian T20I world cup squad as the players making the West Indies team will be ahead on selection possibilities if they put up strong performances in the West Indies matches.
It may be mention that one of the finest Aussie white ball players Glenn Maxwell is one of the players who play in the abort IPL and has opt out of the forthcoming West Indies tour. Glenn Maxwell decides to skip the hundred in England.
Maxwell was schedule to participate in the hundred in England to be held from July onwards and was to play for London spirit. Whose coach is Shane Warne. However Maxwell has suddenly withdrawn from the hundred competition as well.
As per Warne, Maxwell is now being replace by Jos Inglis, another Australian big bash player. It may be note that earlier David Warner and Marcus Stoinis has also withdrawn from the 100.
Apparently, bio bubble fatigue could be the reason for Maxwell withdrawing from the hundred. Possibly Maxwell might feature in the phase 2 of the IPL. Which will be soon follow immediately by the world cup T20I. That will ideally be a bubble to bubble transfer with no quarantine.
