Guyana Amazon Warriors has beaten defending champions Trinibago Knight Riders in the first game but it was the 2nd game between Barbados Royals vs  St Kitts and Nevis Patriots at Warner Park,  St Kitts which had a memorable incident. Gayle hits Holder for straight Six & breaks glass panes in CPL.

Batting 1st St Kitts put up a challenging 175 /5 with Dwayne Bravo (47) and Stephane Rutherford (53) playing well. However, all the attraction was drawn towards Chris Gayle. As he smote Jason Holder’s, delivery in the powerplay for a big straight six and the ball went and hit a windowpane, thereby causing severe cracks on the glass.


Gayle (12 off 9 balls ) did not last long but his massive six breaking the glass was the moment of the match.
St Kitts went on to win the match by 21 runs. But their fans were equally excited about Gayle breaking the glass as shown in the below video
