Dinesh Karthik  found guilty and reprimanded for breaching IPL code of conduct

KKR former captain and wicketkeeper , Dinesh Karthik was reprimanded for breaching IPL code of conduct in the match between KKR and Delhi Capitals. 


Dinesh  Karthik admitted to the Level 1 offence 2.2 of the IPL’s Code of Conduct and accepted the sanctions said a press release .


However the nature of the offence was not specified in the release. 


Though the nature of the infringement was not mentioned , it is widely expected to be the moment when he got out . 
In a match in which KKR were cruising , a couple of wickets fell which  caused some panic within the KKR ranks and brought Dinesh Karthik out to bat in an effort to see the team through.

However ,like a few of his senior colleagues, he faced just 3 balls and went for a huge slog against the pace of Rabada and his stumps was knock back   for nought as the Delhi Capitals sensed a,great winning chance out of nowhere.
Karthik ,while leaving the crease after his dismissal knocked one of the stumps with his hand to the ground. 

It turned out to be a close last 4 overs after Kolkata was apparently cruising to an easy win.  Wickets fell in clusters as KKR batters panicked and got into a spectacular collapse .  Finally a brave six from Tripathy off the penultimate ball of the match saved KKR the blushes as they survived a total batting implosion.
