Deepti Sharma sets the hundred on fire with a brilliant all-round show

The Indian girls continue to make their presence felt in the newest cricket format, the hundred. After Jemimah’s great run with the bat & Shafali’s return to form the previous day, it was Deepti Sharma’s turn to unleash her all-around talents in the competition which took her team, London spirits over the line.

Deepti was already performing with the ball in every match but was not firing as a batsman.  Finally, her turn came on this day vs Manchester Originals in a gripping match.

With the ball, Deepti gave away only 10 runs in 20 balls and took 2 wickets of 2 of the best players in the opposition, the South African duo of Lizelle Lee & Du Preeze . Manchester managed 127/5 in 100 balls.
