There are two massively important games on 28 September and very important ones for KKR, Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians .

KKR will face up to Delhi Capitals at Sharjah in the afternoon heat while Mumbai Indians will lock horns vs Punjab Kings in another potential thriller at Abu Dhabi .

Delhi Capitals v Kolkata Knight Riders
Delhi Capitals are 2nd in the points table  only on net run rate compared to CSK. Here they will like to win to stay ahead of the pack. KKR lead in head to head 14-12 but lost the latest game in the 1st leg to Delhi

For Delhi, Stoinis is still nursing his injury and might not play in this game and there is an injury concern with Prithvi Shaw as well in which case we may see Smith in the XI .  For KKR, Andre Russel has an injury concern and is likely to be replaced by Shakib Al Hassan otherwise the team is likely to be the same . This is a very important game for KKR to win to stay ahead of the bottom half teams . Their net run rate is one of the best, and hence all they need is to win maximum games possible  to storm into the playoffs . It remains to be seen how their belligerent openers  manage to nullify the threat of a quick and fiery Anrich Nortje.

KKR Probable XI:Shubman Gill, Venkatesh Iyer, Rahul Tripathi, Eoin Morgan (c), Nitish Rana, Dinesh Karthik (wk), Shakib al Hasan, Sunil Narine, Lockie Ferguson, Varun Chakaravarthy, Prasidh Krishna

DC Probable XI:Prithvi Shaw/Steve Smith/Sam Billings, Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant (c & wk), Shimron Hetmyer, Lalit Yadav, Axar Patel, Ravichandran Ashwin, Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje, Avesh Khan

Mumbai Indians vs Punjab kings
Mumbai and Punjab has played out some of the best thrillers in IPL over the years and the way the Punjab team shapes up in each match, another thriller is on the cards .  Mumbai has a slight edge in their 14-13 head to head clashes but was hammered by Punjab by 9 wickets in the 1st leg this year.

After another suspense thriller vs SRH , the Punjab team needs to perform superbly again to get past Mumbai Indians . Punjab are  level on points with MI,  KKR & Rajasthan . Not much changes expected in Punjab XI. Their top 3-4 needs to fire in this all important game . The bowling has done very well in the last game to defend a low score and should keep the pressure on a currently fragile looking MI batting.

Mumbai current have massive issues in their batting with several middle order players out of form and hence they will not start as favourites in the game . However with their backs to the wall they will try to come out all guns blazing and maybe bat first and bat with no target pressure. The bowling is capable of defending low scores and can put pressure on a jittery Punjab batting . Thus maybe batting first in this pressure game the best way to go for both teams .

It also remains to be seen how much Mumbai has recovered from their humiliating loss to RCB in previous match.

MI Probable XI: Rohit Sharma (c), Quinton de Kock (wk), Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, Hardik Pandya, Kieron Pollard, Krunal Pandya, Adam Milne, Rahul Chahar, Jasprit Bumrah, Trent Boult

PBKS Probable XI: KL Rahul (c/wk), Mayank Agarwal, Chris Gayle, Aiden Markram, Nicholas Pooran, Deepak Hooda, Harpreet Brar, Ravi Bishnoi, Mohammed Shami, Nathan Ellis, Arshdeep Singh
