Dazzling 122 by Babar Azam
A brilliant dazzling 122 off 59 balls by a man of the match Babar Azam with 15 fours and 4 sixes supported by another magnificent 73 not out off 47 balls by Mohammed Rizwan took Pakistan to a resounding 9 wicket win over South Africa, chasing down a mammoth 204 target at Centurion.
Babar played awesome shots. Dazzling cover drives, neat onside strokes, delightful cuts and pulls completely decimated the South African bowling as he hit 15 fours and 4 sixes . Rizwan continued his amazing consistency with another match ending knock and his strokeplay was no less. Pakistan raced away to victory in just 18 overs.
Earlier brilliant batting by Markram (63 off 31 balls, 6 fours, and 4 sixes) and Janneman Malan (55 of 40 balls, 5 fours, and 2 sixes) took South Africa to 108 n 10 overs. Both openers played stunning shots and showed their quality. Great cameos from Van Dussen (34), Linde(22), Klaasen(15) to South Africa to a formidable 203 in 20 overs. Mohammed Nawaz (2/38) was the most successful Pakistan bowler.

Superb bowling by South Africa’s left-arm orthodox bowler George Linde (3/23) and fast bowler Lizaad Williams (3/35) restricted Pakistan to 140 /9 in 20 overs. For Pakistan Babar Azam(50) and Hafeez(32) were top scorers but they could not dominate the bowling and force the pace.
South Africa chased down the target easily in 14 overs with Markram (54 of30) playing a dazzling inning studded with 7 fours and 3 sixes. Good cameos from Klaasen (36) and Linde(20no) took the Proteas over the line as they won by 6 wickets.
