CSK batters suffer due to no DRS in early part of CSK v MI game, fans react on twitter

Mumbai Indians finally won a low scoring duel against Chennai Super Kings to get their 3rd win in this dismal season. Their Aussie duo, Daniel Sams and Riley Meredith combined well to rip through the CSK top order with Bumrah too bowling with fire. The CSK bowling duo of Mukesh Chowdhary and Simarjit Singh hit back with vengence to rattle the top order of Mumbai before Tilak Varma calmed things down with a matured innings to take Mumbai home.

At the beginning of this match, there was a power failure in some part of the stadium.  Due to which there was a delay in the toss.  After this, the option of DRL was also not available at the beginning of Chennai’s innings.  During this, two Chennai batsmen became LBW and they did not have the option of reviewing. CSK innings collapsed in front of the seam and swing of the lethal bowling attack of Mumbai as already 2 wickets went down to lbws before power was restored back in the stadium

This was a very controversial call to get the DRS up in the middle of the game after CSK lost two wickets which were potentially reviewable decisions. Conway and Uthappa might well have managed to reverse the two decisions had the DRS been up and running. The organisers should have shelved DRS totally for this match instead of reinstating it in the middle of the game after two crucial lbw decisions were already taken .

The fans , specially the CSK fans were livid as soon a lot of memes are being made on social media. Some tweets were extremely hilarious as under
