Cricket Australia issues NOC for their players to play in the remainder of IPL 2021
In a big news for the IPL organizers, the majority of Australia’s top IPL cricketers. Will be returning to participate in the remainder of IPL 2021. Therefore David Warner, Steve Smith, Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, Daniel Sams, Jhye Richardson and Kane Richardson who did not participate in Australia’s tours of West Indies and Bangladesh due to bio bubble fatigue after returning from the aborted IPL in May 2021 will all be returning back to their respective teams on resumption of the IPL 2021 in September.
Josh Hazlewood, Dan Christian , Moises Henriques , Riley Meredith, Mitch Marsh , Adam Zampa; Andrew Tye , Jason Behrendorff and Josh Phillipe are the other players. Who are a part of the IPL and have recently toured West Indies and Bangladesh out of which Hazlewood , Marsh and Phillipe had opted out of the first stage of the IPL that was held in India. Cricket Australia issues NOC for their players to play in the remainder of IPL 2021.
All the above 3 are eligible to return to the last phase of the IPL. However it is not yet confirmed whether they will actually return.
Hazlewood belongs to CSK , Marsh to SRH & young Phillipe to RCB .
Pat Cummins .however has opted out of the event due to birth of his child.
Therefore it appears that like New Zealand , Australia also have allowed their IPL players to go ahead and play the IPL as they feel that participation in the IPL will get them more acquainted to the playing conditions in the UAE where the T20I world cup will be held.
