  • Sumit Kumar took 2 wickets for 26 before scoring 62 runs off 34 balls by hitting 2 sixes and 7 fours
  • Special Guest Jawahar Lal Nagia presented the Parky Consolation prize to Tarun Godara for his fine hundred

New Delhi: Collage Sports Club has entered the quarter-finals of the 31st All India Hitkary Om Nath Sood Memorial Cricket Tournament. Collage Sports Club registered a victory over Delhi Challengers Academy by 21 runs at the Rashtriya Swabhiman Khel Parisar ground. In a victory of Collage Sports, Sumit Kumar (62 runs and 2/26) showed brilliant all-round game while Dhruv Jurel (58), Shivam Chaudhary (58), and Rohan Rathi (54) hit half-centuries.  

Chief Guest Mayank Sood conferred the Kuber Man of the Match award to Sumit Kumar. Special Guest Jawahar Lal Nagia presented the Parky Consolation prize to Tarun Godara.

Batting at number 7, captain Tarun Godara hit the century for the Delhi Challengers. Despite his superb century, Delhi Challengers lost the match by 21 runs. He scored 101 runs in only 66 balls by hitting 8 sixes and 5 boundaries.
