Four-test series between England and India which is going to start from February 5 in Chennai is creating buzz for many reasons and one of them is to face India in India. Buttler is a recent interaction talked about the challenges that the cricketers have to face staying in bio-bubbles and quarantine. He said that it is not possible for all the cricketers to play all the matches because it consumes a lot of time. Buttler would also be returning home after the first test that would be held in Chennai and then he would be joining the team for five T20Is and three ODIs that they are schedules to play after the Test series.

ECB’s DECISION TO ROTATE PLAYERS IS RIGHT.

Buttler admitted to the fact that the times are really challenging and many people are leading tough lives with the pandemic and lockdown going on in different parts of the world. He considered himself and his team to be “fortunate play cricket” and do what they love. But it is difficult for players to spend so much time away from their families.

 He has conviction in the rotation policy that England and Wales Cricket Board has adopted. He said, “ECB has been forward thinking to rotate the players in and out of the series.” He agrees that the audience wants to see their favourite players in the ground all the time but “it is not possible looking at the time spent in the bubble.”

MANY NEW FACES TO BE SEEN DURING THE MATCHES

Many cricket experts and former cricket giants like Kevin Pieterson already have said that England should move ahead with their best playing XI but looking at the batting order it’s hard to predict what game would be on the show because there are some new faces in the team and as Buttler said there are “some guys who are at the start of their careers and for some this is their first tour in Asia.” Tour to India is makes you “understand the magnitude of the game”.

Buttler recalled Root’s magical game in Sri Lanka wherein he scored more than 200 runs. He said, “If we play a fantastic wicket, the good score would be 600, understanding and realization of scoring big runs is the key.”
