Bumrah’s wife Sanjana elated at seeing bowler’s name on honors board after his 5/64
Jasprit Bumrah has scripted a great return back to form after his disappointment of the WTC final in which he did not pick up any wicket. In the Trent Bridge test in England, the fast bowler, who earlier had a fifer on this ground in the 2018 series, got his mojo back and started the match in style picking up the stubborn English left-handed opener Rory Burns in the first over of the test.
Bumrah got 4 wickets in the first innings and took that confidence in the 2nd innings. In which he was at his absolute best and got 5/64 to put India in a winning position. He picked up the crucial wickets of Sibley, Crawley, Curran, Broad and above all the centurion Joe Root who was batting brilliantly.

This was Bumrah’s first fifer in tests after his marriage which obviously made his newly wed wife. Famous sports presenter Sanjana Ganesan delighted.
