Breaking : Stuart Broad ruled out of the remainder of India Test series with leg injury


In a huge blow for England ahead of the Lords test, ace fast bowler Stuart Broad has been rule out of the remainder of the India series. With a torn right calf muscle. The MRI scans have shown a tear. 

With James Anderson also in doubt for the Lords test due to a tight quad. It’s a tough situation now for the English selectors. Promising fast bowler Saqib Mahmood has been draft into the team. And he is almost certain for a test debut after a stellar show in white-ball internationals vs Pakistan recently.

Broad had a subdued 1st test at Trent Bridge. He was wicketless in the first innings and came back to his own in the final few overs of the 4th evening. Getting the prized wicket of KL Rahul to an unplayable delivery.
