Another weekend of doubleheader and we are in for two blockbuster games. The first one between the two table toppers RCB and CSK IPL 2021 will be played in Mumbai whereas Delhi and Hyderabad will meet at Chennai on the evening game.

RCB v CSK :

This should be a blockbuster match. Both teams are in good momentum, especially RCB who has thus far maintained an all-win record.

RCB looks like a settled unit and hence may not make any changes. They may use allrounder, Shahbaz Ahmed, at number 3 which has been a minor issue for them in otherwise a settled batting order. The ploy of playing Maxwell at four and De Villiers at five has done wonders. Kohli after a subdued stint ad opener has fired in the last game along with Paddikal who was outstanding. The bowling looks like a settled unit but Chahal is slightly below his best.

CSK has a long batting lineup and it is firing well. Gaekwad after an indifferent start has finally got a confidence-boosting score in the last game. The middle order is looking rock solid with great attacking options. The bowling lacks an out and out fast bowler but has delivered at crucial moments.

This match will be a contest between Dhoni’s shrewd moves and Virat’s intent.

Favourites? RCB has a slight edge.

Probable XI

RCB : Paddikal , Kohli , Shahbaz , Maxwell , de Villiers , Sundar , Jamieson, Harshal, K Richardson, Siraj, Chahal

CSK: Gaekwad, Duplessis, Moeen, Rayudu , Raina , Jadeja , Dhoni, S Curran , Shardul , D Chahar , Lungi Ngidi

SRH v DC:

Another gripping match on the cards. Delhi is in 3rd spot in the league table and looks to have got into a good momentum. Their camp was hit with a bit of Corona wave with Axar Patel and Nortje both were under scanner. However, both are now cured and gave joined the bio bubble. Nortje who has joined earlier will be ready to take the field now. The batting lineup is well settled. Probably they will continue with Smith who can provide the stability at number 3. The openers are in great momentum particularly Dhawan. DC have a potent bowling line-up that will challenge SRH.

After 3 back to back losses SRH finally won convincingly against Punjab Kings. They need to continue with the Warner Bairstow opening combination and play Williamson at 3 as it is their batting with needs more attention. The Indians in the lower middle-order needs to fire. The bowling looks well settled though they have lost Natarajan for this IPL due to knee injury. If Holder cannot be accommodated due to 3 overseas batters, SRH will have to play Khaleel Ahmed who can extract bounce due to his height and has done well in the games he had played so far.

Delhi Capitals should start favourites but the Chennai pitch can assist the SRH bowling as was seen in the last match.

Delhi should be the favourites to win

Probable XI

DC : Shaw , Dhawan , Smith , Pant , Hetmyer , Stoinis , Lalit Yadav , Ashwin , Amit Mishra , Rabada , Avesh

SRH : Warner , Bairstow , Williamson , Vijay Shankar , Kedar Jadav , Abhishek , Rashid , Bhuvneshwar, Khaleel , Kaul , Nadeem
