New Delhi: Bal Bhawan International School has made it to the pre-quarter-finals of the 31st All India Hitkary Om Nath Sood Memorial Cricket Tournament. Bal Bhawan International School defeated Delhi Colts by 28 runs. In Bal Bhawan’s win, Yugal Saini (103 runs) hit a century and Arpit Rana (77 runs) scored a half-century while Mayank Rawat scored 43 not out and 2 wickets in his an all-round game.

Chief Guest Rahul Wasan presented the Kuber Man of the Match award to Yugal Saini. Special guests Sunil Gupta and Shiv Kumar presented consolation prizes to Dinesh Kumar and Mayank Rawat.

Batting first, Bal Bhawan School scored 267 runs for four wickets in 40 overs with the help of Yugal Saini’s century. Yugal Saini scored 103 runs in 97 balls with the help of 1 six and 12 fours. Arpit Rana scored 77 and Mayank Rawat scored 43 not out.

In reply, Delhi Colts team could manage 239 runs for 6 wickets in 40 overs. Dinesh Kumar played an unbeaten innings of 80 runs off 52 balls with the help of 8 sixes and 3 fours. Shohrab Dhaliwal scored 54 runs with the help of 4 fours and four sixes and Gulzar Sandhu scored 43 runs. Mayank Rawat and Saksham Singroha took two wickets each.
