India and England lock horns in a massive encounter and a win for India here will seal the 3 match series in their favour .  After a stunning collapse from a strong position , England will need to go all out for a win against an extremely vibrant Indian team which seem to find ways of exciting  comebacks  after being on the ropes.

Both Eoin Morgan and Sam Billings have suffered injuries in 1st ODI while fielding and both had batted subsequently.  Morgan needed to have 4 stitches on a split webbing and Billings injured his collar bone. However on the match eve Morgan found it tough to field due to his injury and has withdrawn from remaining games as also Sam Billings whose injury is still very sore .   Also Morgan had earlier indicated to play most members in this series . Hence now spots open up for Dawid Malan and Liam Livingstone. And Jos Buttler to lead in Morgan’s absence .

England will bring in Liam Livingstone for Billings.  Johny Bairstow was in murderous form in last ODI but the middle order could not back up his great knock.  Positive  contributions are required from Ben Stokes , Buttler , Malan and Moeen . England has a marathon batting line up and therefore should have closed down the 1st ODI after a such a rollicking start.

England bowling needs to find ways and means to control the Indian batting which is dominating their bowlers . More is expected from Curran brothers and the spinners . Mark Wood though getting wickets a sharp pace has been leaking runs too. England may look at Reece Topley in this game .

Probable England XI
Roy , Bairstow , Stokes , Malan , Buttler , Livingstone , Moeen , Sam Curran , Tom Curran/ Topley  , Rashid , Wood

India will have to replace injured  Shreyas Iyer with probably Surya Kumar Yadav who will make his debut in ODIs . Rohit Sharma , who suffered minor injury on elbow may play in all likelihood . In case Rohit is rested , then Pant can come in as keeper and back to form  Rahul can open after his 62 in last game in the middle order must have rejuvenated his spirits . Krunal Pandya had a great debut and should be raring to go again , ideally would like to contribute with his bowling more .

The Indian fast bowling group staged a brilliant fightback after being on the ropes when Bairstow was firing on all cylinders . Bhuvneshwar is the clear leader of the attack and has made a big difference with his economical spells which is creating wicket taking oppurtunities for Shardul and Prasidh as the opposition is trying to attack the less experienced bowlers.

Kuldeep Yadav , on a comeback trail had a quiet game in 1st ODI and hence needs to keep improving to get back the confidence of team management. Though not many changes expected on bowling front , needs to be watched whether Kuldeep is retained for 2nd ODI

Probable India XI
Rohit  , Dhawan , Virat , Surya Kumar , Rahul , Krunal , Hardik , Bhuvneshwar , Shardul , Prasidh & Kuldeep

With temperature in mid 30s and decent batting pitches with some life for fast bowlers , this promises to be another high scoring game.
